Leroy is a Certified Insurance Counselor and Licensed Risk Manager with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Leroy has held various leadership positions within the industry at the local and state level. He currently holds, or has held, Agent Advisory Council positions with multiple insurance carriers, such as Travelers and United Fire Group. His Advisory Council Member status allows Perkins Insurance Agencies, LLC direct access to our carriers at an executive level on behalf of the clients we represent.
Leroy focuses on designing specific programs of insurance and risk management for our clients to ensure their risk is properly transferred and their assets are protected in the event of a loss. During his distinguished career, Leroy has provided council and expertise for our clients throughout the Big Country and the state of Texas.
Leroy is also actively involved in the leadership of SBMP, Inc., one of the premier agency groups in the state of Texas. Since joining SBMP, Inc. in 2005, Leroy has worked with the leadership of SBMP, Inc. to bring exponential growth to the group by seeking out and adding multiple premier agency owners and partners throughout the state of Texas. His efforts in this area continue and the future of SBMP, Inc and its agency partners continue to look better than ever.

Mark has more than 10 years experience in the insurance industry, and is a Certified Insurance Counselor and a Certified Risk Manager. Mark is an active leader within the industry and currently serves on various agent advisory councils for the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, the statewide association for Independent Insurance Agents. He has also served as the local Abilene Independent Agents Association president in 2010.
He specializes in designing insurance and risk management programs, partnering with our clients to provide the peace of mind they need to achieve their personal or business goals and objectives. Currently, as the only CIC, CRM designate in the Abilene area, Mark's expertise and training in insurance coverage and risk management are a valuable asset to any family or business looking to properly transfer risk or protect their assets in the event of a loss.
